We design every tool with privacy, ethics, and transparency at the core. Unlike many platforms, we don't retain your data and don't use it for AI training. Our infrastructure is built to meet strict privacy standards, making it ideal for users in regulated or sensitive fields.

Yes. Your data is processed on secure Canadian infrastructure, with no retention and no use for AI training. Files remain confidential and are handled in compliance with strict privacy and ethical standards.

Most files are transcribed within seconds, depending on length and quality. Longer files (e.g., over 60 minutes) may take a bit more time, but all are processed quickly and securely.

Yes. Our tool is designed to comply with the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS 2, 2022) and REB privacy requirements. We do not store or reuse user data, making the tool suitable for sensitive academic research.

We currently support a wide range of audio and video formats, including: AAC, AIFF, M4A, MKV, MP3, MP4, MPEG, OGG, WAV, WEBM, AVI, MOV, WMV, FLV, and 3GP. If your format isn't listed, contact support. We're continually expanding compatibility.

Yes. We support many languages, including but not limited to: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Chinese, Arabic, and more. Our system detects the language automatically. If unsure, contact us or try it out using our free tier.

Our engine provides industry-leading accuracy using private and secure AI models, achieving 95%+ accuracy for clear audio. Accuracy may vary based on audio quality, speaker accents, and background noise. You can review and refine transcripts using our built-in editor.

Yes. All transcripts are editable in your dashboard. You can revise text, add speaker labels, and export in multiple formats. If you make a mistake, you have unlimited undo and redo options to help you easily adjust your edits.

All files are permanently deleted once a user deletes them. We do not retain or use any user data.

Yes. We offer custom licensing for professionals, universities, research labs, and departments, featuring volume discounts and flexible billing. Contact us (finance@ethicai.ca) to learn more or request a quote.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades are scheduled for the next billing cycle, and your current-cycle credits remain available until renewal.

When you upgrade, you get immediate access to your new plan's credits. When you downgrade, your current credits remain available until your next billing cycle.

You are eligible for a refund if a request is filed within 14 days of payment and no credit quota was used in the period for which you are seeking the refund.
